Los Murales del Meirande
Batalla de Rande-Battle of Vigo Bay
¿Qué tienen en común Julio Verne, los submarinos nazis, la Guerra de Sucesión Española y la búsqueda del mayor tesoro venido de America? Si quieres saberlo tendrás que visitar el recién inaugurado Museo-Centro de interpretación Meirande.
What do Jules Verne, nazi U-boats, the Spanish Sucession War and the quest for the biggest treasure brought from the Americas have in common? If you want to know the answer you'll have to visit the newly inaugurated Meirande Museum.
El tesoro de la Flota de Indias- The Spanish treasure fleet - Para Vigo me voy !
Para este centro hice dos ilustraciones que se reprodujeron en tamaño mural. El más pequeño, la escena de la Batalla de Rande, mide 2 m de ancho y el de la travesía de la Flota de Indias tiene 5,5 m de ancho. Esta ilustración de la travesía es una ligera variación, con el horizonte curvado, de la que figura en el Meirande.
I've made for this Museum two mural size illustrations. The he small one, The Battle of Vigo Bay, is 2m width and the Fleet mural is 5,5m width. Manoir T2 endpapers / guardas
I made this fake Velazquez for a scene of the second album of Le manoir des murmures (whispers in the walls in the american edition). Later on, I made the endpapers that weren't included in the first edition, but they are included from the second one. You can see a preview of the album here.
Hice este Velazquez falso para una escena del segundo álbum de La mansión de los susurros. Poco después, lo utilicé para hacer unas guardas que no pudieron ser incluidas en la primera edición, pero se incluyen a partir de la segunda. Podéis ver un extracto del álbum aquí
